The Ice Lake Basin Trail: 6/10/19
Located in the beautiful San Juan Mountains of Colorado, the Ice Lake Basin hike offers many spectacular views of nature. At the beginning of the hike, you get to view the beautiful mountains through the trees.
While hiking through the forest, you must cross a creek in order to progress.
Once you ascend above the tree line, the mountain views are unbeatable.
My favorite part about this hike is how the views get more breathtaking as you increase in elevation. I also enjoy the lower temperature as you progress along the trail and increase in elevation.
This hike is definitely one of my favorite hikes I have ever been on. The scenic views and fresh air creates a scene so surreal that it cannot be described. This is definitely, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful hikes in Colorado.
